Master percussionist and former Guggenheim fellow John Hollenbeck’s Claudia Quintet traveled to Nepal for the Jazzmandu festival. We edited their spontaneous footage of rehearsals with local musicians, concerts, master classes, temples, and street culture – together with their stunning music and journal entries – to make this musical travel doc. (17 minutes, 2014)
