Clients

Our portfolio spans nearly 20 years of work for non-profit organizations, government institutions, and private companies. We specialize in short video pieces that document change, reach out to new stakeholders, and share knowledge. Much of our work falls in the topic areas of health, youth & education, and the arts – though we are always excited to cover new topics.

 

A coalition of parents and community members works with Worcester Public Schools to help close the achievement gap and provide equality of opportunity to all students. Their project was a part of the New England Partnership for Health Equity, which pioneers upstream solutions to achieve health equity and social justice. (6 minutes, 2012)

Corazón en Mano

Elizabeth Stone House, an alternative mental health program for women, commissioned this Spanish-language outreach video to tell Latina women about their services. Three women who have experienced abuse, suffered deep psychological problems, or been separated from their children explain how Stone House’s programs help them remake their lives. This informational video introduces the practice of Reiki, an alternative healing technique. Chantal D’Arleville, a Reiki master in the Boston area, uses the video to help clients understand how Reiki helps people deal with emotional trauma, debilitating disease, and stress. (11 minutes, 1998)

Massachusetts College of Art and Design's Artward Bound program offers Boston students in grades 8-12 a chance to dive into art while receiving academic support throughout their high school careers. The goal is to hep students gain admission to and succeed in college art programs. (3 minutes, 2012)

Students in rural Hidalgo, Texas – near the Mexican border – are getting extra support and the opportunity to take college courses through the Early College High School Initiative, funded in part by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. (4 minutes, 2011)

Stand for Children works locally and statewide to ensure that all children, regardless of their background, have access to a high-quality education that prepares them for college.  We produced a short piece for a staff retreat to highlight the mission and passion that unite their staff. (4 minutes, 2011)

The Jacob Hiatt School in Worcester, Massachusetts, has expanded its school day to eight hours to allow more time for core academic studies, hands-on learning, enrichment programming, and professional development for teachers.  It’s one of the first ten schools in the state participating in Massachusetts 2020’s Expanded Learning Time Inititative.  (7 minutes, 2007)

Early College High Schools help underserved students make a smooth transition through high school and into college. Students earn up to two years of college credit while completing high school. Over the next several years, more than 150 of these pioneering small schools will open across the country. The Initiative and this DVD project are sponsored by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. The city was devastated after World War II when its industrial base disintegrated and many of its families left. Storyteller Ina R. Friedman shares three first-person stories of teenagers who survived the Holocaust. Manny, a 14-year-old German boy, sees his home and family shattered in the violence of Crystal Night. Renee, 13, is left an orphan in Paris after the Germans kill her parents.
